Summer Bash is the annual fundraiser of the MAYF. The project allows us to heighten the public awareness of the financial hardships experienced by families with a child battling cancer.
The event will be held Saturday August 25th. 2011 will be the 6th Annual Summer Bash. The event includes Entertainment, Live and Silent Auctions, Dessert Auction , Dinner and Program. Cost per person is $50.00/ tables of 10 = $500.00
How can you help?
Join us at our event. Get 10 friends together, reserve a table, become a sponsor through a donation, purchase auction items and feel good knowing you have helped brighten a child and their families day.
Funds raised are used to help individual families and their child through assistance with rent, mortgage, food, utilities, prescriptions, gas cards, etc. MAYF provides financial support to Camp Quality of the Heartland and Camp CoHoLo two local camps “Allowing kids to be kids.” Financial support is also provided to the University of Nebraska Medical Center Pediatric Oncology department with Visa gift cards and monies to purchase packets to give newly diagnosed child. The MAYF pledged $10,000 to sponsor the new Pediatric Oncology Playroom at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center which was met in 2011, as well as, provide Visa gift cards and monies to be used for immediate support to families.
