IMMEDIATE IMPACT

Applications are submitted and recommended by the hospital's social worker on behalf of a family in need and then approved by MAYF. From there immediate payment is made to approved vendor.

 

INCREASED IMPACT

Starting in 2021, families can request up to $1500 every six months to cover bills and other expenses due to the loss of income from one or both parents. This increased from $2000 to $3000 eligible for one family to apply for assistance.

Your support helps families with children who are treated at Omaha area hospitals. You help offset basic living expenses related to treatment.

Camp Quality of the heartland camp CoHoLo

Camp Quality is a summer camping experience and year round support program for 70-80 children with cancer. Camp CoHoLo is an acronym for Courage, Hope and Love. This summer camp hosts 140-160 children with cancer and blood disorders.

Hospitals use funds for emergency needs and gas cards to assist families traveling long distances for treatment.
